Validity of antidumping duties for 2027: Key dates for the sunset review.

On October 15, 2026, the Ministry of Economy published, in the Official Gazette of the Federation, the notice that the definitive antidumping duties imposed on imports of products from the United States and China are about to expire.

Any domestic producer of the goods listed below may express to the Ministry of Economy, in writing, its interest in initiating a sunset review procedure for any antidumping duty to determine the consequences of its elimination. In such case, it must propose a review period ranging from six months to one year within the period of validity of the antidumping duty.

Target Audience:

National producers and any other person who has a legal interest.

How interest must be expressed:

  • In writing addressed to the International Trade Practices Unit (UPCI) of the Ministry of Economy.
  • Express interest in initiating a sunset review procedure of a antidumping duty to determine the consequences of its elimination.
  • Propose an examination period of six months to one year included in the time of validity of the antidumping duty.
  • Be submitted in accordance with the requirements established in Article 70 B of the Foreign Trade Law.
  • Submit this document to the UPCI Parts Office or through their email (upci@economia.gob.mx).

Deadline to appear:

No later than 25 business days before the end of the corresponding term.
