FOUNDING PARTNER
For over 14 years, he has worked in the field of international trade, initially at the International Trade Practices Unit (UPCI) of the Ministry of Economy. He is currently a founding partner of Trade Remedies Mexico.
Ministry of Economy
At the Ministry of Economy, she participated in the admission and processing of antidumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard measure investigations in the steel, agricultural, textile, footwear, and chemical sectors, among others, drafting the corresponding resolutions. She also collaborated on various projects between the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and the Ministry of Economy, such as: participation in the working group responsible for drafting the Foreign Trade Law and its Regulations; drafting the Tariff Classification Agreement of the General Import and Export Tax Law, which classifies goods subject to antidumping duties; and developing programs on customs control and inspection by industry sector, under-invoicing, tariff classification, and regulations, among others.

At Trade Remedies Mexico, his experience has focused on administrative proceedings related to international trade, addressing issues such as unfair international trade practices, economic competition, and customs matters. In the area of economic competition, he has successfully represented various distributors of LP gas, footwear, apparel, and various products from the metallurgical and chemical industries. He has also worked on administrative litigation before various federal and judicial authorities and has served as an external advisor to binational panels under NAFTA. Furthermore, he has collaborated with various industries in negotiations for international trade agreements, such as the CPTPP and the Mexico-Panama Agreement, among others.
